Richard Bagnall-Smith
Richard is a co-founder of Cadell and together with Willem works with over 30 of the leading Legal Firms, Professional Trustees, Private Banks and Family Offices across the UK, Switzerland, Channel Islands and Monaco. With many years as CMO and Head of Business Development on the Global Executive Management Board at Christie’s, followed by a stint at Qatar Museum’s Authority, Richard has extensive experience of the art market.
Willem de Gier
Willem is a co-founder of Cadell and together with Richard works with over 30 of the leading Legal Firms, Professional Trustees, Private Banks and Family Offices across the UK, Switzerland, Channel Islands and Monaco. A former Global Executive Management Board member at Christie’s, Willem was responsible for Group Operations. Additionally, Willem has a background in Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Management Consulting.
Caroline Sayan
Caroline is President and CEO of Cadell Inc based in New York, Caroline joins Cadell after a distinguished 25-year career at Christie’s. Most recently, she was Global Managing Director overseeing all international auction, private and digital deal negotiations and sales of 20thCentury art. Previously located in Beijing, Caroline launched the first western art auctions in Mainland China. In addition, she established private and retail sales as a global business division and established the first commercial office overseeing global financial deal negotiations including lending and loaning services.
